Scan of Flamingo 1 reveals a predominantly white background and pink feathers that appear to be faded in some areas. Further examination indicates a series of scratches along the leading edge of the wing, which may have been caused by a collision with another object or surface. The scan also detects a small patch of missing feathers near the tail section. Overall, the condition of Flamingo 1 appears to be somewhat worn but still intact.
