This Ceiling Fan / Light pull chain, ball chain, pull string knob, handle, finial, fob is made for use with standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain and will also work with smaller chain as long as you attach a #6 metal connector. The main print will need supports to stay stable. I've included left/right files that can be printed with minimal supports by placing them at 60-degree angle on the build plate. Just assemble the parts after printing by feeding the chain through the top of the print and attaching a standard #6 connector to it. If you're using a ball chain, form a loop around a keyring and hook with the other end of the connector. If you don't have a metal connector, print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file I've included. Note that if printed in PLA, it's a tight fit. To fix this, lay the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball and push down until it snaps into place. You can also use string with a large knot tied in the end. I usually print things at 10% infill but if used on a ceiling fan, you may want to increase the infill for more weight.
