Flame Lamp
myminifactory
Check out my updated design on my own website at https://www.designuitinspiratie.nl/3d-printer/vuur-lamp/ for a more polished presentation! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Warm Glow using NeoPixels and an Arduino Nano as a light source. The lamp's shade is printed in PET-G using the "spiral outer contour mode" with no bottom layers. The base is printed in silver ABS, 0.2mm resolution. Both prints were made with a 0.4mm nozzle. I used the Arduino sketch and library from AdaFruit, modifying it slightly to make the LED's change color slowly. For more information: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-neopixel-uberguide/arduino-library-use The 6 LED's are soldered in series to form a ring. Since each can handle up to 60mA, I tapped into the Arduino's internal regulator for 5V power. A simple firing diagram is included in the picture section. Note: To keep the Arduino secure while plugging and unplugging the USB cable, I hot-glued it to the base. Feel free to ask me any questions or offer constructive comments!
