Flakes for IKEA Maskros Pendant light
thingiverse
I have a mid-sized IKEA Maskros pendant light with original paper flakes, but after years they're full of dust and fly crap. They need a replacement. Maybe IKEA sells spare ones, but the closest IKEA to me is around 170km away, which costs me about 20€ just for diesel and toll. On the first picture, there's the lamp with old dirty, wobbled paper flakes There are 84 flakes on my lamp, but there were also smaller and bigger sized with less or more flakes on them. I made 16 spoke flakes instead of 17 spoke original ones, just because it was easier. Version 2 has a 0.5mm larger side hole. You'll need to play with your slicer settings, I guess. I find it perfect at 235 degrees on the nozzle, 60 on the bed, rotated for 15 degrees on the bed, 160% flow on Cura+120% flow on printer (yes that much) first layer concentric, top layer lines. I use a ceramic bowl and a heat gun to make them round shaped. You can also color customize your pendant lamp. Either you make it totally in different colors or only add some of the flakes in other colors to match some of the furniture in your room. I'm playing with the option to make some of the flakes in light purple to match one of the walls in our bedroom. If you like my work, you can buy me a coffee or some fine creamy stout anytime. https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/kukibiker
