Flair 58 drip tray cover v2

The original drip tray cover for the Flair 58 that I made worked well but it was also used for a pour-over drip tray (with the stock drip tray) and the excess heat started to warp the PLA. So a new design was needed to make it stronger and more heat resistant. Knowing the dimensions were good I built off of the original design and extended the entire outer edge using the original design's length of 12mm which is the inner hieght of the stock drip tray. this makes the edge more stable and stronger. The original design has concentric circles held together by a center cross that ran to the edge. the middle circle was extended 10mm as a center "foot". the 2mm length difference between the center "foot" and the edge "feet" was to offse the raised texture in the flair stock drip tray that wasn't at the edge. Over time these circles began to warp so I added another cross support diagonally forming more of a star shape which should help keep the shape of the circles even if some warping may still happen. Instead of extending the middle circle as a "foot" I extended the star support 10mm inline with the raised textured pattern again making the whole thing more stable and stronger. I considered stepping it down at the walls where the raised texture ends but left the 2mm gap so liquid doesn't get trapped and can move freely. This design is untested so use it at your own risk. If it's used for an extended time with a poorly insulated cup/server it's going to warp the PLA over time. The extra support I've added to this design will make it stronger and prevent warping but ABS probably is a better material if you don't want it to warp. Alternatively increasing the infill will help this as well. I've been told my designs are all missized. I use SketchUp and am not sure what the issue is but I haven't had the issue myself. if you need to resize it the dimensions are 135mm x 115mm x 12mm. as mentioned the inner cross that is extended is 10mm.
