Print Settings Printer Brand: Printer: Printrbot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 100% Notes: I highly recommend mirroring the mesh before printing if you have a smooth/glass print bed so that the printed piece can look smooth and glossy on the correct side. You may also want to scale down the Z axis alone to make the print thinner. I scaled it down to a stark 1mm before slicing. How I Designed This Credit: /u/captain_poopants My workflow for this kind of thing is: Open image in Inkscape Convert to path Simplify the path Save just the path to an SVG Import into blender Convert to Mesh Extrude to desired depth Ensure the object is the size I want it (in mm) Export as an .stl and watch the magic happen. edit: A quick Google shows this in-depth tutorial https://studiogreenleaf.wordpress.com/2013/11/23/inkscape-to-blender/ -- /u/captain_poopants, 2016
