Flail from OMF2097

thingiverse

This one's a blast from the past! We've brought back a classic from the retro DOS game OMF 2097, and it's ready to go a'flailing. Our model of the iconic Flail bot is printable, with chains that are sized down to fit most 3d printers. The pieces have been carefully designed so assembly is a breeze - just check out the images attached for all the details. To print the chain on Flail, you'll need to follow a specific sequence that lets you loop them together while they're still printing. You can find instructions in the attachment for more information on how everything goes together. Keep in mind that most pieces may require some support material, and they work best when printed with 0.2 or lesser layer height, 15-20% infill, and 3-5 shells. Depending on your 3d printer and printing settings, you can expect to spend around 40-50 hours bringing all the parts to life. We hope you have a blast making this one!
