I'm Replacing Old Fennel with New Flag Pole Attachment. Here's How I Did It. I recently replaced my worn-out fennel on a household flag pole that held a 4ft x 2.5ft flag. Since the old one had rotted and fallen apart, I decided to create a new attachment rather than buying a whole new pole. The inner diameter of the printed model is about 25mm when scaled up to 100%. However, if your pole's diameter is significantly different, it might be better to scale it up or down slightly.
