I'm using simple wire flag holders for 3/8" posts that make my marker more visible, allowing me to clearly mark stumps so I don't hit them with my tractor's box blade rippers. This setup will also help me find all the stumps when I rent an excavator next time. The grey fiberglass posts blend in with dry ground, while the red metal ones become nearly invisible on wet soil. It's frustrating to feel like we can't win sometimes. Both metal and fiberglass posts from Tractor Supply Co., also known as TSC, fit snugly onto 3/8" diameter poles. I bought my flags at Home Depot, ensuring a secure fit that won't come loose too easily.
