Flag Clip / Snap

Flag Clip / Snap

thingiverse

This is a straightforward flag attachment designed to secure a flag to the rope or rings on a flagpole. Its design adheres to the same fundamental specifications as a standard nylon clip. The 15 mm hole in the ring component ensures a secure fit. I've chosen to provide the original IPT file for editing purposes, eliminating the need to reverse-engineer an STL file. Autodesk Inventor 2019 was used to create and edit this design, which is its native format. If modifications are required, the original file remains available. I printed mine using PLA plastic, but users may opt for alternative materials. While some claim PLA lacks durability outdoors, my experience with printing parts from PLA has shown no issues after several years of exposure; however, testing in extreme weather conditions or high winds is still pending. This design was created and printed quickly without thorough testing, so feedback from those who print and test these clips would be appreciated. A recommendation is to print the clip flat to maximize its strength.
