FJM01 - Freakin jointed mecha 3D print model
cgtrader
Hi everybody!! I'm excited to share my latest project, a modular and jointed mecha designed specifically for consumer 3D printers. It uses cleverly positioned pins that allow you to assemble it without needing any glue. This innovative design enables users to easily build and reconfigure their mecha. The standard size of this model can be found in the attached file, but don't be afraid to scale it up if you want to achieve even more impressive results. One of my favorite features is its versatility - with just a few adjustments, you can have your mecha striking dynamic poses or standing steadily on one foot (be sure to check out the accompanying pictures for inspiration). Depending on your needs and requests, I'm happy to create additional parts that you can integrate into this design. Whether you want to upgrade or customize your mecha, I'll do my best to support you. Here are some helpful tips for printing this model: First, make sure to cut all the necessary pieces with your slicer or 3D modeling software. For optimal strength and stability, try orienting the pins parallel to the ground during the printing process. By following these simple steps, you'll be able to build a robust and highly poseable mecha that's truly one-of-a-kind!
