PET Bottle Adapter for Fizzini/Sodastation Handheld Sparkling Water Maker. I needed a way to use a 1-liter soda bottle instead of regular bottles with my handheld sparkling water maker. I'm grateful to sirmiro for his "PET Bottle Cap for Projects" design, which saved me a lot of time and effort. This project was designed entirely in 3D Builder. The original cap fit my bottle well but had some wiggle-room in the threads, causing pressure issues with my first prototype. By version six, I adjusted the dimensions slightly, reducing them by a few millimeters in both the x and y axes. The adapter now holds pressure effectively. It works just as well without the gasket, and I'm still deciding which method I prefer. With the gasket, it retains pressure for a bit longer, but it can be a bit unsettling - the pressure eventually dissipates, though.
