In SolidWorks, this practice model sketch was created with the tools line, smart dimension, circle, and centerpoint straight slot. The tools boss extrude, cut extrude, fillet, and chamfer were used to make this model 3D. Plus, to make this practice model accurate, I made the material 1060 alloy. After the first look at this model's blueprint, I pictured that the first step to create it was to sketch the outline of the model's side face. By doing this, I could easily extrude the body of the model. Understanding the best steps to create models is key as it leaves less room for mistakes. If I could redo this model, I would have looked at the measurements more closely. Mass = 546.82 gramsVolume = 202525.07 cubic millimetersSurface area = 33680.65 square millimeters
