Fixes for Dewalt Miter Saw Stand (DWX723)
thingiverse
The sliding support and stop on the Dewalt DW7232 heavy duty miter saw stand is needlessly sloppy. The support slides in a 1 inch slot but loosely fits this slot. This leaves it free to rotate and shift. One of the files here is a shoe that fits over the bottom of the stand so that it is tighter. It is a little longer to give more stability. Remove the white plastic dots from the bottom of the support before installing this shoe. The flip up stop on the top of the support is not vertical when it flips up. The bolt holes for the Dewalt flip up stop are about 1/4 inch off. Made a new flip up stop with the right bolt hole placement. Printed these with 8 boundary layers and 40% fill. Seems strong enough.
