"Fixed" X axis chain mount t nut
thingiverse
I tried installing Tobi0892's cable chain system on an Ender 3 pro, but had trouble with the X-axis mounts. I tried printing (a short piece) of the slide-in version, but when I noticed I needed to remove the whole gantry to fit it, chose to use the T-nut version. It didn't align properly with the drag chain though, as the cable clip was 5 mm farther away from the x-axis as the one on the slide-in mount. I could -just- make it fit, but the drag chain would need to bend an awful lot to accommodate the extra width I considered designing a new mount, as I feel the full tray isn't really necessary and uses too much plastic. Ain't nobody got time for that though and in the end I updated the stl to match the attachment of the hotend mount. I just moved some of the control points in the mesh, so this has exactly the same amount of triangles and the same file size as the original.
