Fixed wing payload release/drop mechanism (simplified)

This is a simplified but effective payload release mechanism that was used for an impromptu project to drop a 1.5kg weight from an altitude of 100m. two of these were used to suspend the payload inside the fuselage.they were glued to the inner walls of the fuselage but you can modify them to fit your use case. I couldn't find a suitable model and had to quickly design this for printing.there are two options for mounting the servo depending on the direction of rotation of the servo. Cheers!
