I am making significant changes to the original Rubber Band Gun. Unfortunately, it had many bugs that the author didn't address in recent years, but I like its design and decided to optimize it. Here's what has changed: - The rubber wheels were initially too thick for the rest of the gun, so I fixed them. - Now they're smaller to make room for six or more rubber bands. - I optimized the trigger to fit snugly in the rubber bands. - I added wholes that allow you to change the trigger-rubber band in the future. - I redesigned the trigger and main parts to accommodate the trigger-rubber band. - The original design shot when releasing the trigger, but now it shoots when pushing the trigger due to an inverted mechanism. I also included a hand grip, as the original was too narrow. To make precise gluing easier, use "Nutenstein" (you'll need four for the whole thing). To assemble the gun, start by applying Cyanacrylate glue to the parts. Begin with "Seite R," attaching "Magazin Seite R" and "Griffschale R" using "Nutenstein." Next, proceed with "Seite L," gluing "Magazinrad1" & "-2" together before testing the mechanism with both sides, including "Kern," "Auslöser," & "Schlittenkern." If it's not working perfectly, you may need to rework "Schlittenkern" or "Magazinrad" before gluing the sledge and gun together. Be careful when handling the slim pins on the "Magazin Seite," as they can break easily. However, this won't affect the overall performance of the parts. If you notice any other issues, feel free to leave a comment. Have fun with the fixed Rubber Band Gun!
