Naval designers can create visually appealing all-wood hulls with two small pieces. The green piece prevents plating from warping during the gluing process, while the brown one keeps the current plating aligned with the previous layer between each set of slats (1.5mm thick). A commercially purchased plastic screw handle is represented by the red coin. FreeCAD files are available upon request for those who need them.
