Fixed Focus 6x9 Film Camera

I wanted a 6x9 camera to shoot infrared film. I chose to build a fixed focus camera because I hardly shoot anything closer than infinity. Lens I used: Tominon 75mm f/4.5 Film holder: Lada for Plaubel Roll film back. Viewfinder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2526736 I used 100% infill beacuse I got light leaks on my first testprint. A bit thicker walls and painting the inside of the camera might also solve this issue. You can set the focus by putting a piece of tracing paper in the film plane, mount the lens in the "lens adapter v1.stl" and look for sharp focus, idealy with a magnifying glass. Then glue the lens adapter in place with super glue or epoxy. I made a groundglass just for setting focus on this camera. I gave the inside of the camera about five layers of matt black paint to kill all light leaks. The seal around the rollfilm holder was not light tight so I closed it with a cheap 3d pen. To make it pretty I cut und glued in very cheap wood veneer, a bit of wood oil made it look extra fancy. I would suggest to try a few different glues before committing on the camera, I got bad results with super glue and epoxy and in the end used Uhu Extra. I also designed a handle because I got alot of blurry photos when triggering the camera straight on the lens. The handle with threads for a cable release solved this issue. 40cm Cable release I used: shorturl.at/iRTW1 Arca Swiss Clamp: shorturl.at/pCO78 Both items are very basic so you will probably find them if you search for them. As the lens has no filter threads I glued in a 52-43mm step DOWN ring which fits perfectly and just screw in my filters backwards. This camera is probably not the best out of the box experience but in the end I got a very reliable, stylish camera with zero ligh leaks.
