My wife brought my old acoustic guitar back to life, and the problem was that it had been lying around for a while on an old office chair. So, I had the mission to build a support to hang it up on the TV console (the guitar, not my wife). At first, I made it on Freecad, but I thought putting it directly on Thingiverse wouldn't be very relevant because it's only suitable for my guitar. The customization app of Thingiverse allows you to put online an object that can be adapted to all needs, but I didn't take the time to look into it. Now I have and I saw that it uses OpenSCAD files. I had seen this software when I was looking for one to create 3D files in order to use my printer, and it put me off a bit because it works with scripts. But I decided to give it a try and realized that it's not as complicated as I thought, and it's actually quite powerful. So, here it is - I've recreated my piece using OpenSCAD and allowed the ability to make one that can be adapted to each guitar. It's a really simple project, with a script (which might be a bit messy) that's just as straightforward, and mostly, it's my first creation with this software. If the piece is wobbly or there's something wrong with it, it's because I'm just a beginner. To know the dimensions to enter in order to have the right support, you need to measure the gap between the round openings near the mechanics on the head of the guitar. And the diameter of these rounds (see the second image of this project). A margin is applied directly to the diameter; otherwise, the support won't fit through the openings. Printer Settings: Printer: Discovery 200 Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: I printed it as indicated in the STL provided as a preview. This way, there will be only a few supports needed.
