Fix broken wrist rest of keyboard
prusaprinters

My son's Corsair K68 keyboard's wrist rest was broken after a fall. (Picture 1)
In the original design, it was connected with two tabs on each side, which were broken. (P2)
For repair, I decided to use original slots of the keyboard for correct alignment, hence designed part 1. (P3 and P4)
I needed to grind 2mm of some parts of the wrist rest using dremel in order to not change the height of the wrist rest. (P5)
For an easy fix, I wanted to use magnets. Fortunately, I found convenient places on the keyboard for magnet alignment. (P6)
I designed (and modified) part 1 and part 2 to hold magnets for each side for added magnetic force. (P7)
Everything in place. (P11)
Watch the video for magnets in action. (extract 12.zip)

Printed in Prusa i3Mk3S+, using PETG, 0.15 Quality.
Printed Part1 on its largest face down, Part2 on its side, all without supports.
4x ND magnets 12mm diameter 2mm thick. Use one drop of glue (Cyanacrilate) to fix.
