Five minute Ponytail Tool / French Braid Tool
thingiverse
Designed to be printed with most moderately flexible materials with a 0.4 mm nozzle (PLA has been working well for me). Print both A and B pieces in the same orientation and at the center of your build plate so that the walls touch. By printing as shown in the images, you should get much higher strength than you would get if it was using the default settings on software like Cura due to it giving two full loop contours. Printing it without a base should be less than 5 minutes at low resolution. I'm an engineer dad, so my hair styling may not be the best, but I kept losing the tool to do my daughters hair, so hopefully this helps others as well. It's very useful during the toddler stage when their hair is too short and thin to just do a simple ponytail and gets in their face otherwise. I'm happy to have any feedback from users on how this works and improvements needed.
