<h3>Five Fit</h3><h4>Tray-packing puzzle by Stewart Coffin (STC #177-A)</h4><p>Fit all five pieces into the square opening.</p><p><i>Five Woods</i> is one of a series of tray-packing puzzles by Stewart Coffin. It seems impossible at first, but it isn't... if it seems like the pieces just won't fit the way you expect, or the tray size is just a little bit off... don't worry! There's nothing wrong with the model or your printer. Keep trying. (The other puzzles in the series can be found on the <a href="https://www.puzzlehub.org/puzzles/stewart-coffin">Stewart Coffin Puzzles</a> collection page.)</p><p>Coffin named this puzzle <i>Five Woods</i>, because his original production used a different hardwood species for each of the five pieces. That original name is a bit of a misnomer for a 3D printed puzzle. "Five Plastics" has less of a ring to it... I prefer the name <i>Five Fit</i> used by various other puzzle makers.</p><h4>Printing Instructions</h4><p>Print one copy each of <code>coffin.five-fit.pieces.stl</code> and <code>coffin.five-fit.tray.stl</code>. Optionally, you may print <code>coffin.five-fit.lid.stl</code> as well, which is a lid that fits over the tray for easy storage.</p><h4>The Printable Puzzle Project</h4><p>The <a href="https://www.puzzlehub.org/ppp">Printable Puzzle Project</a> aims to make available high-quality open-source models of many puzzle designs. He is credited with over four hundred designs, has pioneered numerous ingenious puzzle forms, and has written extensively about puzzle design and craftsmanship.
