These dart holders work best with Nerf Elite style darts. Accustrike Darts also work, but the rubber tip creates more drag when being pulled out. The Dart Holder was designed to speed up the loading of darts into front-loaded blasters. Holders are easy to refill with darts as you move through the battlefield scavenging ammo from your opponent. The last dart takes the most abuse when pulling all the darts from the holder at once and will likely perform subpar due to the wear. We're currently working on fixing this problem.
