FitBit Zip Clip
thingiverse
Your Fitbit Zip came with a flexible silicone boot that features a clip, which looks nice and works well, but this part is notorious for falling apart easily. Dedicated users will put it on and take it off many times per week, no wonder why. This model serves as a simple replacement to let you clip your Fitbit into your pocket or onto your belt again while waiting for the cheap replacements from eBay. A couple of caveats - PLA is not ideal for flexing parts, so this needs to be a bit bulky. Also, it will probably break at some point, and then you can just print it again. If you can print in Nylon or another stronger material, it might last longer. It's best to wear it with the clip on the outside of your pocket and the Fitbit inside, so if it breaks, it stays in your pocket. But if it's going to break, it will probably happen when putting it on or taking it off, so you might be okay wearing it on your belt or waistband. This is a work in progress, and you need a single screw to hold the pieces together, clamping your Fitbit in place. Screw Specs: 2.5cm long M3 machine screw or a 1.0 inch #4 wood screw. To-Do: The Fitbit is secure in the clamping holder, but it could be a bit more snug. A future version will seek to tighten this up.
