Fitbit Flex Case
thingiverse
Simple case for the Fitbit Flex designed to be carried effortlessly in your pocket. I never liked wearing my Fitbit on my wrist or using a clip/fob, opting instead for convenience. To overcome the inconvenience of carrying the wrist band mount in my pocket which frequently obstructed other items, I crafted this bespoke case. Carry the Fitbit with confidence, knowing it is snugly encased to avoid damage from friction and dust. Avoid printing supports as this might compromise the functionality of the retention "spring"/tab which needs room to flex allowing for seamless Fitbit installation. Print without supports at your own risk, however you may be able to achieve successful prints by relying on the 0.5mm inherent support in the design file that can span the necessary gap. Post-print cleanup will also be essential in ensuring smooth usability. Use a high fill setting of at least 70% for durability, or if unsure use PLA for better performance in flexible retention areas. Printing with stiffer materials such as PLA may make the initial installation challenging due to the stiffness of the spring and tab mechanism; frequent use should allow for effortless insertion/extraction within days.
