Fitbit Aria Scale Foot
thingiverse
The Fitbit Aria scale's design appears flawed, causing the front feet's plastic components to fail after a limited number of uses. This failure typically occurs just as the warranty expires. Once broken, the scale is unable to detect zero load, causing the display to continuously loop between 'step off' and 'sensing,' resulting in battery drain. Replacing the part is not an option due to lack of availability, rendering a $120 scale essentially useless over a small plastic defect costing 0.10 cents. Fortunately, it's relatively easy to replace this part by following instructions provided in comments accompanied with a video.
