Fitbit Alta Watch Band Replacement

This watch band fits Fitbit Alta perfectly. I designed this product because my wife's colleague thought engineers can't fix anything when her broken Fitbit band fell apart, so I took up the project to show engineers can do anything. The design process was enjoyable. I used Fusion 360 to create different solutions. At first, I tried rebuilding the mount inside the original band but even PVA proved too brittle for this application. Details of the mount were also too fine to replicate with the printer's limited resolution. After that failure, I switched to designing a case to house the watch and add bands to it. The first prototype was hard to put on. What you're downloading now is v2.0. This band length is mainly designed for women. I tried printing the case in black with white bands and it looks great. You are free to download, print, and do whatever you like with this product, including selling it.
