Summary Fit To Be Tied is a 1980 steel sculpture by Frank Smullin, a pioneer in computer-aided sculpture. The work of art can be found on the campus of North Carolina State University's College of Design in Raleigh, North Carolina. The sculpture consists of nine sections of metal pipe joined together with bolted flanges, gradually transitioning from a straight line to a tight knot.
