This model is based on Fission (1963) by Bridget Riley. Lots and lots of dots!

I printed this model face down using the MMU. My initial attempt at printing this started with the black color and then finished the layer with white. Starting with the black prints all the individual dots first! There was a lot of black stringing that shows up in the white. The second attempt started with the white and ended with the black. This was better but there was some roughness at the bottom center of the print which was either due to 1st layer issues or congestion of the dots in this area.

I did not fully test the color print verson of the model but did do some testing. Ironing the topmost surface produced good results. The second to last picture shows ironing and the last picture shows effect of no ironing.

Because of all the dots the color print version with ironing the topmost surface will likely produce the best results.
