Fishy Soap Dish - self draining
prusaprinters
A simple self-draining soap dish, meant for use in the shower or on the edge of the bath. The liquid drains out the slot in the bottom and is channeled to the side - orient the drain side towards the down slope in your shower/bath. The drains channels are shaped in the form of a fish skeleton.Attribution - borrowed the shape of the fish outline from “Fish Skeleton Magnet” - see the remix link.Print instructions: Recommend PETG to make it dishwasher safe.Perimeters - I used 4 perimeters to get some better water resistance. Eventually expect the dish to be saturated if the water proofness is not high enough.Infill: anything from 20 to 40% will do a good job - I used gyroid to get any residual shape to look like fish scales.Support - Support will be required to handle the angled drain channel on the bottom of the soap dish. Select “support on build plate only” and be sure you are slicing with separable supports to make removing the supports easier.
