UPDATE 2017/03/15 I completed the latest version of my trout reel. For the pawl kind system, I utilized two strong magnets (Ø8mm) that operate in opposition. This decision replaces the use of springs, and I successfully achieved the dual-position functionality. This reel is designed for trout fishing with the technique called "pêche aux appats naturels" or "pêche au toc." To put it simply, this method uses a reel as a simple line reserve. I need a system to prevent the line from falling off the reel, so I added a red chenille yarn to keep everything in place.
