Version 2 of this clamp mounts securely to the boat using a strong 1/4 stainless bolt that withstands the rigors of kayak travel. Despite initial struggles, I've overcome the limitations of the previous printed thread design by opting for a more robust fastening system. The new clamp boasts configurable braces on either side, providing a superior grip on triangular edges and ensuring a rock-solid hold even in turbulent waters. These innovative features not only enhance stability but also make it easier to secure the clamp on a variety of kayak shapes and sizes. To further expand its functionality, I've integrated a GoPro mount into this updated design, allowing adventurers to capture stunning underwater footage without missing a beat.
