Fishing Rig for Dji Phantom 4

Made this up to try out some drone fishing. Don't worry about me, just be careful and fly at your own risk!! It's a straightforward design created with 100% infill using ABS on high settings, laid flat with support. You might need to do some light sanding to let the line slip off easily. I printed this on my Anycubic 4 MAX. You attach it to the center of the drone on the legs with 4 cable ties to keep it in place. Fly the drone up and hover over your head height, then attach the fishing line with a loop and a leader on a swivel about 1 meter to the main line. Next, add another leader about 3-4 meters long with a sinker and a paternoster rig. Fly the drone forward at around 10-20 meters with the bail open on your reel to release the line. Once you're in position, turn the drone 180 degrees, close the bail, and reverse the drone to let the line go. The line should slide off easily. I haven't used this setup yet, so I'm not responsible for any damage to your drone or anything else. Before you head out, I recommend doing a dry run on land first and keeping the total weight of the rig, sinker, and bait under 600-700 grams.
