Fishing lures

There are two fantastic kinds of lures here waiting for you to land that next giant river fish! These lures are based on my thrilling adventures with smallmouth and largemouth bass, as well as pike. You can easily find the necessary metal hardware and treble hooks at your local bait shop, BassPro, Canadian Tire, or other outdoor stores. To ensure they hold up to use, these custom lures should be printed in one solid piece. Using support material and a raft is crucial, as anything less could result in losing your catch or even damaging the lure itself! Lure #1 This surface lure mimics the action of a frog or a fish breaking the surface, enticing a strike from beneath. It performs best near reed beds or areas with shallow, weedy water. The body should be printed solid enough to securely attach the hardware but still buoyant enough to float. A 60% solidity level should provide the perfect balance. Lure #2 This jointed lure mimics the movement of a minnow, complete with a diving spoon that creates a wounded fish effect or generates a strike. It excels in medium to deeper water. To maximize its effectiveness, print the body with 100% solidity and attach it directly to the eyelet using a line. When it comes to painting, feel free to get creative! While store-bought lures are designed to impress us humans, fish respond more to basic rules like shape, silhouette, and motion. Since they're relatively colorblind, focus on flashing metallic colors to grab their attention. A silver base with clear model paint sounds like a winning combination. To increase the lure's authenticity, try to replicate local fish markings – these intelligent creatures can recognize each other! Stay tuned for updates on my progress! I'm heading out in a couple of weeks to test these lures and catch some river monsters. In the meantime, I'll be printing and painting more custom lures to share before I leave. Get ready to hook those giant fish!
