Fishing Lure Attempt 1

Fishing Lure Attempt 1

thingiverse

This is my first fishing lure attempt. It boasts holes for wire attachment points at the front, top, and bottom, allowing secure line and hook connections. A small pocket at the front accommodates weights or rattles to enhance its appeal. I created the lure in the photos using glow-in-the-dark ABS plastic with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer thickness, 100% infill density, and a 4mm brim to prevent warping. The model was printed at 75% scale since I'll be using it in a freshwater lake; the design is slightly larger than intended. Once the wire layout was finalized, CA glue was applied to join the two halves together. A paper towel soaked in acetone was then used to smooth out any seam imperfections. I'm generally satisfied with this first attempt and plan to produce more lures throughout the season.
