This is an extremely accurate replica of the wheel from a Fisher Price Explorer 980. After 40 years, the plastic of the "tire" had finally given way, leaving me with the intact "axle" and "rim". The axle was tightly press-fitted in place, making it quite difficult to extract without damaging either part. I wasn't able to come up with a good solution for reusing the rim since it utilized a groove designed specifically to catch the original tire. Given my limited materials on hand, I decided instead to fuse the tire and rim together into one single object. The printed part turned out perfectly in PLA with 20% infill and is currently holding up exceptionally well.
