Fisher-Price 80's nut and bolt
thingiverse
Getting my old toys ready for my daughter, some bolts had their heads broken. So I reversed-engineered the bolt and the nut to make 3D printed ones. Dimensions are as close as possible to the real things, using a caliper. The only notable difference is that I removed plastic-injection design-contraints (i.e. the hole inside the screw slot). Why? Well this is not for injection molding, so I don't need those features to ensure good manufacturing dimensions. But then it's 3D printed, so I might as well try to compensate for the general fragility related to inter-layer adhesion, hence add more plastic!
