After several years of dependable service, the two-drawer dishwasher from Fisher & Paykel suddenly suffered a critical failure. Rather than investing heavily in new replacement shelves, I chose to take matters into my own hands by designing custom-made shelves. Although they may not be an exact replica of the original, these DIY shelves have proven themselves to be more than capable and fulfill their intended purpose with ease. When creating your own replacements, keep in mind that you will need to utilize a filament that can withstand higher temperatures, as both PLA and PETG were found to warp significantly after just a few uses.
