Fisher E3Dv6 effector
thingiverse
This is my design of an effector plate to make the E3Dv6 work with a RepRap Fisher. With carbon fiber rod arms, no printable volume is lost and the head can still reach the extremities of the build plate. Unfortunately, using the original Fisher acrylic arms means that a bit is lost. /Updated 13/06/16/ I added a one-piece bottom plate and nozzle to my design. It's slightly harder to assemble this way, but it provides better airflow over the part being printed. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Fisher Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Layers Infill: 20% Notes: Printed with Form Futura Carbon Fil at 270 Degrees. Post-Printing This design will need a set of M3 hex bolts, nuts, and washers. I used a selection box to find the right sizes. It also uses the standard nozzle air blower attachment from the Fisher kit. How I Designed This I created this design using Onshape, and my original version is public and editable here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/56c02f1ee4b07d6a27dfd7e5/w/fb358283fbdc42836230d2a4/e/e11cad215447be43d0d2057c
