As part of my artist residency at the Innovation Lab, I will be conducting a series of workshops over a month to acquaint people with 3D scanning using 123D Catch. Last weekend, during a 3D scanning workshop, I led a group on an "architectural tour" of Chicago's Loop. We visited the Fisher Building and Old Colony Building before heading to the park. Participants scanned public art pieces and local scenery.
