Fishbone peg

This is an "easy-to-print" peg. Design it with “Creo Element Direct Modeling Express” and print it in PLA on my Prusa i3. My Creo source file is available at http://www.fabriqueurs.com/fabrications. I made this peg for a 13mm diameter hole - use the scale factor to adapt it for another size. It seems strong enough for my initial purpose, which was to attach a light string, but I need to go further and figure out how much it's really strong. At this time, please don't use it for tying a children's swing or hammock. This first try at designing an easy-to-print peg made me want to continue studying the subject: check and characterize the strength of this fixing system (depending on size of peg, printing material, kind of support,...), test other printing materials - ABS, nylon, and why not in Filaflex - but I think soft materials will require a new design, improve current model and design other easy-to-print pegs, make dedicated models for hollow walls, or design pegs based on compression of soft parts.
