I'm thrilled to share my 3D printed masterpiece of a cardboard fish, inspired by the fun and interactive experiments found in little kids' books! When working with cardboard as the material for this fish, you only have a few minutes before it absorbs water and sinks. To overcome this limitation, I decided to print one using PLA on my trusty Prusa i3 MK3 3D printer. I've included the Fusion360 file so you can edit or even improve it if you'd like! Simply place the fish carefully on top of a water surface, then drop some dishwashing detergent into the large hole in the middle of the fish. After just a few seconds, the fish will start to move and pick up speed! You can use this as a simple experiment for kids or just for fun - it's perfect for any occasion!
