My fish tank lid pivots on a minuscule, brittle hinge. After a couple of years, one of the hinges gave way. I dashed down to the pet store to buy a part to fix this, and you guessed it - it's no longer available in that size - I'd have to purchase something far more expensive, and scrap a ton of stuff to repair a tiny little part. Enter 3D printing. I grabbed my calipers and hacked something together in Fusion360. After three revisions - I've got something that works, and is entirely functional. Hopefully this can save you the trip to the pet store. Also - forgive the photos - using a flash in there makes it look filthy... Please don't judge. Thanks!
