Fish Tail Point, XCB-105-1951. 400 BCE-100 CE XCB-105 Adamagan (Aleut for place of walrus hunters) sits at Morzhovoi Bay's head, western Alaska Peninsula. It is a massive village with multiple occupations. Estimated 1000 people lived there when occupied from 400 BCE to 100 CE, making it the largest Arctic village ever. Limited occupations date back to 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE. Western Alaska Peninsula artifacts come from research funded by grants NSF 9630072, NSF 9814086, NSF 9996372, NSF 9996415, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411. H. Maschner directed this research as Principal Investigator. These artifacts were scanned with a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i scanner. Geomagic and Polyworks software processed them. Two to eight photos created texture in Geomagic Wrap. Original digitizing work was done at the IVL at Id. St. Univ., while subsequent processing and publication occurred at Global Digital Heritage.
