Fish shaped cat treat cutter
thingiverse
In celebration of my new Kickstarter project, I've created this adorable cookie cutter for making homemade cat treats. Soon, I'll post the recipe. I designed a Pick Mat - a food dish liner - specifically for when the cat's bowl isn't completely empty (yet your feline friend protests). Recipe: One 5-ounce can of tuna, drained and free from added salt One cup of oat flour, with a few extra tablespoons set aside for rolling out dough One large egg One tablespoon of olive oil A heaping tablespoon of pumpkin puree If you lack oat flour, simply blend rolled oats in a food processor to the finest consistency. 1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a silicone mat. 2. In the bowl of a food processor, combine tuna, oat flour, egg, olive oil, and pumpkin puree. Blend until the mixture is smooth and pliable, but not sticky. 3. Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness using the reserved oat flour, then cut into desired shapes or form tiny balls with your hands and press them slightly with a fork for a rustic appearance. 4. Bake the cookies at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for about two hours until they become golden brown inside. After two hours, turn off the heat and allow the cookies to cool in the oven. 5. Allow the cookies to air dry overnight before storing them in an airtight container without refrigeration for up to one month.
