This is an add-on for Till Harbaum's TX-Pi system (https://github.com/harbaum/tx-pi). An I2C breakout case to be installed between Raspberry and display. The clips in the top cover are designed to accommodate the I2C level shifter and 3A step-down converter shown. The bottom holds the RPi prototype hat as displayed, equipped with stacking headers. Via printed connectors - thanks to Jan (juh) -> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3375338 - and the converter (adjusted to 5V), the RPi and display can be powered simultaneously. Additionally, 3V3 and 5V I2C connections can be provided via six-pin and ten-pin headers. Note that pin headers are meant for board mounting. Pins may be pushed out of the housing; therefore, a good drop of cyanacrylate glue is applied to the backside after welding wires to pins, preventing pins from being pushed back. Of course, unused RPi GPIO pins can be connected to breakout headers - users are free to do whatever they like.
