<p>This is a fischertechnik enclosure for 12V air compressors as available from <a href="https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_from=R40&amp;_nkw=370+air+pump&amp;_sacat=0&amp;_sop=15&amp;LH_PrefLoc=2&amp;LH_BIN=1">ebay</a> or <a href="https://www.pollin.de/p/luftpumpe-conjoin-cjp37-c12a5-gebraucht-330076">pollin</a>. As opposed to the similar looking <a href="https://ft-datenbank.de/details.php?ArticleVariantId=ed35e6ce-4a61-4722-b604-373ce862240c">ft compressor</a>, this model conforms to the ft 15mm standard with a length of 60mm, and offers different connector choices.</p> <p>The bottom part comes in two versions. Be very careful when removing this support, the bottom is very thin.</div></p> <h3> Post-Printing</h3> <p><strong>Assembly</strong></p> <p>If your compressor came with a mounting plate attached between the motor and the compressor part, remove this first by unscrewing the three screws close to the compressor outlet.</p> <p>After cutting the two 59mm pieces of 4x4mm brass rod, insert them into the printed parts. Mark all places you'll need to drill with a felt pen. Remove rods and use a drill rig and a 2,4mm metal drill to drill 12 connector holes in total. The rest should be self explanatory with the help of the images. If not, please ask in the comments.</p> <p>If you seal your enclosure with super glue and find that the compressor does not get enough air, use a needle to pry a small hole between the two enclosure parts on the side with the two contact rods.</p> </p></p> Category: Construction Toys
