Previous version (version 3) preserved for reference (images located at the end of the gallery).\r\n\r\nHousing for [Minebea 17PM-K374BN01CN 38mm](https://www.eminebea.com/en/product/rotary/steppingmotor/hybrid/standard/17pm-k.shtml) NEMA 17 stepper motor, currently available from [Pollin](https://www.pollin.de/p/schrittmotor-minebea-17pm-k374bn01cn-1-80-310690) for less than <s>5</s> 3 euros. The 45x45x45mm case makes the stepper motor compatible with the [fischertechnik](https://www.fischertechnik.de/en) building toy system. It may also fit other NEMA 17 steppers with a height of 38mm.\r\n\r\nThe 3mm squared axle of this Minebea stepper allows mounting some fischertechnik parts directly with a secure grip (see image 5). However, I included adapters for the most important fischertechnik connectors (gear Z10, clip on axles, larger gears, worm gear). Secure them permanently using a 3mm headless screw.
