There are already similar solutions available, but none specifically cater to this particular aspect. The C Control I2C-bus extender offers a straightforward solution for connecting multiple components on the I2C Bus without requiring soldering. To assemble the extender, M3 screws (4-6mm) were used in conjunction with 2.6mm pre-drilled holes created using self-cutting thread screws, which provides a more reliable connection than printing the thread directly onto the parts. The two components should be snugly fitted together, eliminating the need for additional adhesive to secure them in place. To maintain consistency, the Fischertechnik spacing was retained throughout the design.
